Why this exists

The job search is broken at the senior level. Doing it alone is the hardest part.

You can read every LinkedIn post about resumes. You can watch every interview prep video on YouTube. None of it tells you what is actually wrong with your specific search, in your specific market, this week. That is what Sunday is for.

01

Applications going dark

50, 100, 200 applications. Most never even bounce a rejection. The signal is breaking before a human ever sees it.

02

Recruiter ghost town

Your LinkedIn used to ping every week. Now it is silent. The profile that worked in 2022 does not pull recruiter searches today.

03

Generic advice is failing you

You are senior. Most career advice is written for college grads. You need answers calibrated to your actual altitude.

04

No one honest to debrief with

Your partner is supportive but tired of hearing it. Your friends are still employed. You need a room of peers who actually get it.

Inside the call

Six things you can count on every single Sunday

This is not a quiet webinar where you sit on mute. People come back because they feel supported and they leave with real next steps.

Live resume and LinkedIn feedback

No nonsense feedback you can use right away.

  • Resume structure
  • ATS optimization
  • LinkedIn visibility
  • Positioning for recruiters

Live career Q and A

Bring the questions you have been carrying for weeks.

  • Why am I getting rejected
  • Why am I not getting interviews
  • How do I transition careers
  • Is my resume hurting me

Interview preparation

Walk in calm and prepared for your next round.

  • Behavioral question frameworks
  • Technical interview strategy
  • Tell me about yourself
  • Salary discussions

Network with real peers

Build the kind of network that actually opens doors.

  • Senior IT and tech professionals
  • Career coaches
  • Hiring managers, when they join
  • Community members for life

Industry guest speakers

Some weeks we bring in people who know the market inside out.

  • Microsoft, Indeed, ServiceNow execs
  • Hiring managers and recruiters
  • Tech founders and CEOs
  • Career specialists and coaches

We end with community

Some weeks we take a group selfie at the end to mark the moment. This is a place people show up week after week because it feels like home.

Meet your host

Ahmed Zayed

I'm an IT Career Coach and the founder of Future Career. Before this, I spent 10+ years at Microsoft (Platinum Club winner), Cisco, PwC, and Indeed leading cloud migrations, software delivery, and business transformation programs. I sat on the other side of senior tech hiring loops for years.

I built Future Career because I watched too many senior IT professionals get stuck in a job search that did not match their actual altitude. Generic advice fails them. The recruiter-to-candidate funnel is broken at the senior level. Sunday is where I show up to help, week after week.

Is this really free?
Yes. The weekly Sunday Career Clinic is completely free. No credit card required, no trial that converts. If you want 1:1 work with me, that lives in the paid offers on the rest of the site.
Do I need to turn my camera on?
No, but participation is encouraged. People who show up on camera tend to get the most out of the session and build the strongest connections inside the community.
Can beginners join, or is it only senior people?
Professionals at different stages attend, from early-career through senior leadership. The focus is mid-to-senior tech in the US and Canada, but anyone who can hold a serious conversation about career strategy is welcome.
Is this only for IT professionals?
The primary focus is tech and IT. Software engineers, PMs, EMs, DevOps and SRE, data scientists, designers, technical leads. Professionals from adjacent fields are welcome if the conversation will be useful for them.
Will there be recruiters or hiring managers?
Sometimes. Recruiters, hiring managers, and guest speakers join on certain Sundays. We announce them ahead of time in the reminder email so you know when to show up live. See the speaker wall above for examples of past guests.
Can I ask resume or interview questions live?
Yes. That is one of the main reasons people attend. Bring your resume, your LinkedIn, your toughest interview question, and we work through it together.
How do I join the call?
After you register, we email you the Microsoft Teams link, a calendar invite, and a reminder before the session starts. You can also join directly using the Teams button on this page.
