Why I built this
I'm Ahmed Zayed. I'm an engineer from Egypt. I came to Canada in 2014 with years of experience at Motorola, Alcatel, Cisco, and Nokia. I thought landing a job would be easy. I was wrong.
I applied everywhere and heard nothing. I drove Uber to keep a roof over my family's head. Some days I'd finish a ride and go straight to an interview, still in my suit.
It took three months to land a contract. Five years to land my first full-time role in my field. The problem was never my skills. It was that I didn't understand my market or how to communicate my value.
